Rod’s diverse and accomplished career spans over 15 years, blending public relations, marketing, business development, and strategic planning. His journey began with a strong foundation in communications, earning a college degree in public relations, marketing, and advertising. From there, he took on significant leadership roles, including serving as the Director of Communications for the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation, where he honed his skills in nonprofit communications and fundraising.

Rod’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own business consultancy, providing strategic marketing and business planning for hundreds of companies across various industries. His expertise in leadership development, mentorship, and global team-building became even more evident when he joined doTERRA, where he built a global team of nearly 200,000 people in over 60 countries. Through this experience, Rod developed a deep understanding of leadership, operations, and the importance of sustainable growth.

In addition to his marketing and business acumen, Rod has extensive experience in technology and infrastructure, having worked in IT and innovation, driving operational excellence and technology solutions within his teams. This broad range of expertise has made him a key asset in shaping the future of Weathered Pages, where he is actively helping Jeff transform the nonprofit into a powerful platform for up-and-coming artists.

Rod’s connection to Jeff and Weathered Pages goes back to their shared mission work in Ohio, where their friendship first blossomed. Over the years, their paths have converged, culminating in Rod’s involvement with Weathered Pages as a member of the Board of Directors. He’s been instrumental in reshaping the organization’s vision, ensuring it aligns with the goal of empowering artists, giving them a platform to be heard, and ultimately changing the music industry for the better.
